Our talented and hard working society performs musicals to rave reviews at the Grade I listed Tyne Theatre; Opera House in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Built in 1867 by industrialist and politician Joseph Cowen who envisioned “A theatre for everyone”, we feel incredibly fortunate and grateful that we have the opportunity to bring our productions to life every year on this stage and share our love of theatre and musicals with our audiences.
As a member you will be invited to a variety of social activities arranged throughout the season including fundraisers, Christmas and Pre-show parties. We encourage all members to come along and get involved.
Our members range in age and ability and our key focus is to give them the opportunity to do something they love and enjoy and experience performing live onstage in front of a sell-out audience. WEOS is a welcoming and friendly all-singing, all-dancing family!
